Who We Are

K.A.R.E.is an ALL VOLUNTEER NO KILL - NOT FOR PROFIT organization pursuant to section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Service. All monies go directly to the care of the animals. No money is spent on any salaries of any kind. We are supported in our efforts by contributions from caring individuals and by volunteers. K.A.R.E. must rely on the generosity of people such as you to help us defray expenses through regular donations, fund raising events, and also throught our Karing Katsponsor Program. Without your support, we would be unable to help the many cats and kittens that come to us in need. All donations are tax deductible as permitted by law.

K.A.R.E. was formed by a husband and wife team (retired from Bell Atlantic 37 & 25 years). Over a period of 10 years, over 3000 cats and kittens have been rescued or surrended and have been adopted to new homes. At any one time our orphanage houses over 350 cats and kittens. Expenses for shelter, food and medical care are provided by our retirement funds and donations that are few and far between. Please help us help them! There are so many ways that you can help!
